Terms of Service

The terms governing a clinic's use of the MedHound service.

Last updated 29 June 2026 · version 2026-06-29.draft-1

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your clinic's access to and use of the MedHound platform (the "Service"). By accepting these Terms, the accepting administrator confirms they are authorised to bind the clinic.

1. The Service

MedHound retrieves prior imaging results on a clinic's behalf from radiology provider portals the clinic already has accounts with, and presents them alongside the clinic's patient and appointment records.

The Service is an administrative aid. It does not provide clinical advice, and a result (or the absence of one) must always be confirmed against the source provider before any clinical decision.

2. Clinic accounts and credentials

The clinic is responsible for the accuracy of the patient data it enters and for the security of the user accounts within its practice.

To retrieve prior imaging, the clinic supplies credentials for its radiology-provider portals. The clinic confirms it is permitted to use those credentials in this way and to authorise MedHound to access those portals on its behalf. [DRAFT: this interacts with each provider portal's own terms regarding automation and credential sharing, which is an open legal item, see phi-hardening §6.]

3. Acceptable use

The clinic will use the Service only to look up imaging for patients in its legitimate care, in accordance with all applicable laws including Australian privacy law, and will not attempt to access data belonging to other practices.

4. Availability and liability

[DRAFT placeholder] The Service is provided on an "as is" basis during the pilot. Warranties, limitation of liability, and indemnity terms are to be settled by legal review before general release.

5. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we make a material change we will re-prompt the clinic administrator to accept the updated version before continued use.

6. Contact
